9-Tanker

9-Tanker

9-Tanker is a 2018 Rosenbauer pumper.  Tanker is first due to all residential and commercial fire alarms, and 2nd due to brush fires. It has a 6 man cab with 10" raised roof.  Tanker has a Waterous 1750 GPM single stage pump, and carries 1000 gallons of water and 30 gallons of foam for its FoamPro system.  Tanker has 3 preconnected crosslays, carrying two 200-foot lenghts of 1 ¾” handlines and one 200-foot length of 2 ½” handline.  In addition, Tanker carries 2 lengths of 6" hard suction (to draft from ponds or pools if needed), 1500 feet of 5" and an additional 500 feet of 2 ½” in its hose bed, plus a 24 foot extension ladder, 12 foot A-frame ladder and 10 foot folding ladder.


9-79

9-79 is a 2021 Rosenbauer Viper 78 Foot Aerial Ladder.  Powered by a Cummins X-12 500 HP engine, the "79" has a 400 gallon water tank paired with a Waterous 1750 single stage pump and a Foam Pro Foam System with 30 gallons of foam in its own tank.  The truck will carry our traditional complement of firefighting equipment.  Along with the tower ladder, this will be ther first time the department has run two front line aerial apparatus at the same time.

9-Tanker

9-2000

9-2000 is a 2003 Pierce Dash pumper. The 2000 is first due to all vehicle fires, 5th due to all residential and commercial fire alarms, and also acts as our mutual aid pumper. It has a 6 person cab, 1750 gpm pump, holds 1000 gallons of water, 30 gallons of foam, three preconnected 1 ¾” handlines (one having the capability to discharge foam), and one preconnected 2 ½” handline. In addition to all fire suppression equipment, the 2000 also carries HURST extrication tools and cribbing and runs 2nd due to all extrication calls. 


9-Tower

9-Tower is a 2007 Pierce Dash Tower Ladder. The Tower runs 2nd due to all commercial fire alarms and 3rd due to all residential fire alarms. It has a 6 person cab, 1750 gpm pump, holds 300 gallons of water, has a 110ft. ladder with bucket, two preconnected 1 ¾” handlines, and one preconnected 2 ½” handline. The Tower also carries extrication HURST tools and cribbing.

9-Squad

 


9-ATV

9-ATV is a 2006 Diesel Ford F-550 B.R.A.T. (Brush Rapid Attack Truck). The ATV runs first due to all brush fires. It has a 300gpm pump powered by a separate diesel engine, 400 gallons of water, 15 gallons of foam, two preconnected 1 ¾” handlines, and two 1 ½” hose reals with 200ft of forestry hose on each real. The ATV has the ability to pump foam out of any discharge and the ability to “pump and roll” allowing us to pump water and drive at the same time. It also carries all needed hand tools needed to fight brush fires including rakes, shovels, and chain saws.

9-EQ

This 2018 Chevrolet Siverado 2500HD LT four wheel drive utility type vehicle was purchased to replace the 1987 Ford, and has a Duramax diesel engine and an automatic Allison transmission.  Carrying up to 6 firefighters, the four door truck can also haul various equipment in the rear bed as needed.  It also has a winch mounted on the front bumper.
